| As fulfilling as lifting and balling may be, man is still nothing with out profound thought. That goes for Mr. A as well. Hence I feel it is important to share these thoughts and to see how readers feel about this part. I urge you not to take offense at the bluntness of the statements or if they differ from your own beliefs. However feel free to write back and provide me with some of your own input.
The topic for this discussion will be fundamentalism in the so-called Holy Book that 2.1 billion of you call the Bible. First lets back track a little to the origins of this book. Put together around the lifetime of the supposed Jesus, right?? Wrong. It was edited by St. Jerome in 350 A.D. with the help of a council to choose between the stories. This was followed by an essay by St. Jerome saying that the Bible was only an allegory and nothing close to fact as many of the followers take it to be. While the last thing I want to do is to sway you from your beliefs toward my atheist beliefs I will discuss the massive contradictions just for fun.
Lets start with the beginning of Adam and Eve. Their presence on the Earth by the wish of God would violate every absolute physics law we have. Absolute meaning constant everywhere for everyone, such as gravity causing acceleration to the earth of 9.8 m/s squared. The belief that we all came from this supposed Adam and Eve is completely ludicrous. While Adam and Eve would have been capable of having kids, and the children of Adam and Eve reproducing, lets name them Sarah and Bob. Sarah and Bob would be quite less than normal but would be capable of having more retarded kids, but they would definitely be infertile. So the entire Adam and Eve thing is bullshit. Also Adam and Eve could not have provided 3 distinct peoples as people have classified as Mongoloid, Caucasoid, and Negroid.
Next thing I would like to discuss is the flood. Provided Noah could find every species on the earth and that the tigers and lions wouldn't eat his ass there is absolutely no way they would be able to fit on his little ark. Those fundamentalists that try to manipulate the Bible, which they aren't really supposed to do, and say he didn't need to get every species but just an animal and its opposite sex; that would mean the rest evolved so lets put a stop to that argument.
Another interesting item depicted in the Bible is the life span of the people. If you trace back the proposed lineage the Bible provides it would give people life spans of about 900 years. If people lived to 900 back then my dick is 9 feet long. Believe what you want.
While followers of the Bible say they believe in the other Holy Book called the Torah they decided it was appropriate to change it around some. Such small details as Hell was created. They became monotheistic as well, while the followers of the Torah were really polytheistic.
Some say the changes are irrelevant, as they believe in the same God. Well let me tell you about this supposed "God." This is a God that had his followers commit genocide seven times. If God is what we consider perfect the post office workers going on shooting sprees are definitely angels.
Another supposed fact overlooked in the Bible is the age of the earth. According to the Bible the earth is 6,000 years old. Well if that was all true Adam and Eve would have had to spend some time in cold and darkness as the sun's rays would have still had about another year to travel to get to the Earth. Dinosaur bones have been consistently dated back to 65 million years ago. That's this many: 65,000,000. That's a lot longer than the supposed 6,000 years. That's also proven factually wrong as the Chinese calendar starts at about the same time. It's linear too, meaning never counting back, hence started at a point and continued.
While it takes too long to observe macroevolution, microevolution is quite noticeable. As a matter of fact, macroevolution is just a lot of microevolution. Meaning the theory is a solid one. I can simply prove evolution in about a paragraph or two so pay attention. You can notice that we have 3 groups of peoples on earth or races you may say. While science doesn't acknowledge distinctions such as race because there is no division among Homo Sapien Sapiens, there are distinctions in my book. You may notice on your own that mongoloid eyes look slanted. They are really as round as the Caucasoid eyes but mongoloids have just developed an extra fold of skin called the epicanthic fold. This is plainly microevolution or simply evolution: an extra fold of skin to prevent squinting because of working in the open fields. You may also have noticed how Negroes tend to be darker in skin tone. This is because of a raised sere tone level due to the suns rays. This is evolution. It has also been more solidly supported with the Gallup Island experiment. This entails a species being removed and put on an island. With time they were different from the rest of their species that remained on the mainland.
These are just some things that jump out at me in this God/religion concept. Believe in what you want to believe in. Feel free to respond back to Mr. A. Some things that I disagree with are also the arrogance of Christianity feeling that they are right in converting others, how they are not supposed to judge yet judge is all they do, how Judgment day was supposedly to occur within the lifetimes of the people alive around 30 A.d., how people are scared into believing in religion, and things along those lines. Peace I'm out like, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT I'M OUT LIKE!!!!! |
