The strongest of emotions, the feeling we yearn for, the greatest motivation, and also human kind's unknown strength. It stems
from a simple four letter word. Love makes us who we are; an altruistic people, and love also makes us the opposite; jealous and petty fools. It drives us to insanity and suicide but it makes us the happiest people on earth. So what is love? Well, it's an emotion. Why do we want it so much? Because it gives us a feeling that no other emotion can.
Love is the meaning of life. We live for love. All the things we do in life are because we love certain things. Why do we go to school? So we can make money and be happy. We are in love with the concept of happiness and the thought that money will bring us this happiness. Why do we play sports? Because we have a love for the game. Those are all strong loves but there is something even stronger.
The one love that nothing can break is the love between two human beings. This love is something that people fight for, die over, start wars about, and journey to find. Our soul mates are out there and
it's only a matter of time before we find them.
Many people feel that they have not felt true love. I don't think that is true. When you meet a person and find them attractive, that first feeling may be infatuation. You may just be looking at the person because they are attractive and pleasing towards the eye. But as you get to know a person better you may begin to realize that you really like this person and that you may even love them. At this point many people would hesitate to call it love. Don't hesitate. Seize the moment. If the feelings are true then it really is love. You know they are true because your heart tells you, not your mind.
Now you begin to wonder if this love is too quick to develop. Love is timeless. It knows no boundaries. Love is however we perceive it to be and love should be given freely. This generation of teenagers has seen their mistakes earlier in their lives. While they were younger they felt that they fell in love too quickly and now begin to hesitate to call their feelings true love. It is time to realize what those feelings really are. Don't take another step back and hesitate. Take a step forward and take action. Realize that it is love. Show this love, not gratuitously, but gracefully. Show people that you really care and you are not hesitant to call it love. If we were all without these inhibitions that tell us it couldn't be true love then the world would be a better place because love belongs out in the open not bottled up inside of you.
